Strategic Accounting Professional

Cohen & Company, a top-tier accounting firm, seeks a seasoned Strategic Accounting Professional to join our team.
This role is based in either Chicago, IL or Cleveland, OH and comes with an estimated annual salary of $95,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for clients across various industries.
- Develop and improve accounting processes for clients, leveraging expertise in US GAAP and other bases of accounting.
- IDentify and implement efficient accounting and reporting software solutions for clients.
- Become a primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships through exceptional service and expert advice.
- Advise clients on accounting best practices and general business strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely payables processing, perform monthly reconciliations, and review expense classifications.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet client expectations and contribute to the growth of our department through project work.
