About the Role

Air Control Concepts is seeking an experienced Accounting Team Lead to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing guidance on financial matters to senior management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to analyze complex financial data. You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Lead the budgeting process, working with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
    • Prepare financial forecasts and provide variance analysis to senior management.
    • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.
  • Internal Controls:
    • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
    • Regularly review and update accounting policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.
    • Set goals and objectives for the team, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the company's financial strategy.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
    • Participate in long-term planning and capital allocation decisions.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
