Pipefitter Lead

MHI Ship Repair & Services, a leading marine repair and conversion contractor, is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Lead to oversee the installation and maintenance of ship piping systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of pipefitters, ensuring quality assurance and safety procedures are met, and verifying work schedules daily for plan accuracy.
- Coordinate with other trades as required, managing timecard processes and ensuring timely completion of paperwork, including Condition Reports and Q.A. tickets.
- Read and interpret work specifications to plan and execute requirements, utilizing advanced knowledge of Mil-Standards and Q.A. requirements.
- Manage employee tools and supplies, ensuring they are in working order.
We require a highly organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate others and lead by example. A strong understanding of hand tools, bending machines, and equipment used in the trade is essential.
What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
