We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Administrator to join our team at NAVADERM. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Greet patients with a smile and a professional demeanor, checking them in and obtaining necessary information.
- Patient Registration: Register new patients and update existing patient demographics, collecting detailed personal and financial information.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance information and coordinate prior authorizations for medications and procedures.
- Scheduling: Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate referrals with other physicians or services.
- Communication: Answer telephones, direct calls to staff, and return patient phone calls and emails.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the practice team to ensure each patient receives the best care possible.
- Escort Services: Escort patients from the lobby to the exam/treatment rooms.
- Medical Records: Collect patient medical information, update medical records, and input information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Medication Management: Reconcile medication history and ensure lasers are ready for daily use.
- Exam Room Preparation: Prepare and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Treatment Procedures: Perform and record treatment procedures under the direction of the physician.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and work courteously with fellow employees, physicians, patients, and vendors.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
- Education and Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant required.
