Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Working knowledge of all kitchen stations
- Inventory management and ordering of dry goods and perishables
- Training staff on best practices for station management
- Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety standards
- Driving technique-driven results and collaborating with the chef/owner on menu creation
- Liaising with adjacent venue Littlefield to coordinate events, orders, and catering needs
- Effective expediting practices and scheduling/delegating kitchen staff
- Ensuring quality control of all prep and finished items
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 50 hours worked per week over 5 days
- At least 2 years of experience as a manager in a kitchen environment
- Certification from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
- Professionalism and affability when interacting with colleagues, patrons, and management
In return for your expertise and passion, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 based on experience. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enterprising chef who wants to grow with a dynamic team in a creative and fast-paced environment.
