Job Summary

The Chief Operating Officer is a key leadership position responsible for advancing the mission of Feeding America through strategic planning, operational excellence, and effective management of resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
    • Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Design and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Strategic Partnerships:
    • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Performance Management:
    • Develop and implement performance metrics to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement plans to address performance gaps and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field.
  • Minimum five years of management experience in a related field.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning, operational excellence, and effective management of resources.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
