Purpose and Summary:

Constellation Navigation and Trading, LLC is in search of a Field Level Maintenance Supervisor to manage maintenance operations for the U.S. Army Pre-Positioned Stock Four (APS-4) Watercraft/Modular Causeway System. This role involves the organization and oversight of maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to safety standards and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise Field Level Maintenance Technicians
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage technician performance
  • Provide reports on labor execution and work performance
  • Oversee maintenance tasks for various watercraft and associated equipment
  • Engage in troubleshooting and maintenance activities as required
  • Manage repair teams and prioritize maintenance duties
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record maintenance activities
  • Assist the fault repair team as necessary
  • Deliver updates on schedules, costs, and maintenance metrics
  • Handle ordering of parts and materials
  • Maintain daily Engine Logbook entries
  • May assume Chief Engineer responsibilities when necessary
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Background as a Warrant Officer or Licensed USCG Merchant Mariner/Engineering Officer
  • Familiarity with GCSS-Army and maintenance management systems
  • Preferred certifications in propulsion and power generation systems

Technical Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Possess relevant certifications
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company standards
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance

Learning Opportunities:
