General Summary :

This position involves assisting customers at the counter, handling phone inquiries, locating products, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service. Responsibilities include generating invoices, loading items into customer vehicles, and delivering products as needed.

Utilize all available resources to find products and maintain the self-service area, along with creating and managing branch displays. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for providing excellent service to customers both in-person and over the phone. Pre-employment screening is mandatory.

Responsibilities Include:
• Process customer orders and maintain clear communication with clients, providing timely updates.

• Complete sales transactions through data entry, product verification, and payment processing.

• Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication in person and via phone.

• Perform warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, order processing, delivery, and inventory management.

• Handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.

• Collaborate effectively with a diverse team.

• Recommend alternative products based on availability, cost, or specifications.

• Build and nurture professional relationships with customers.

• Manage multiple tasks efficiently to ensure timely completion of responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of Heating and Cooling systems.

• Proficient in basic math skills.

• Ability to read and interpret invoices, catalogs, stock numbers, and descriptions accurately.

• Capable of heavy lifting.

• Familiarity with material handling equipment for safely moving heavy products.

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record; ability to operate manual transmission if necessary.

Work Environment:
Fast-paced setting with frequent interruptions. Requires regular bending, climbing, movement, and lifting during loading/unloading of trucks and stocking. Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday with some Saturday shifts (half day). This is a safety-sensitive role.

Successful completion of pre-employment screenings is required, and candidates must be at least 18 years old to operate a forklift.
