Job Overview

SUMMARY
The individual in this role will be accountable for promoting and selling a diverse range of products to all clients within a specified region, ensuring that customer satisfaction and service requirements are consistently met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Operates a delivery vehicle to transport products to clients.
  • Manages inventory on the vehicle and in retail locations to guarantee product freshness and compliance with quality standards.
  • Engages with store management to secure additional display opportunities and shelf placements.
  • Promotes the complete product range.
  • Actively seeks out new business opportunities.
  • Establishes organized and appealing product displays while adhering to store guidelines.
  • Handles loading and unloading of products.
  • Keeps a detailed route log documenting directions, stop order, and contact information.
  • Ensures cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle and equipment.
  • Utilizes a handheld device for sales transactions and cash handling.
  • Completes order forms and sales agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three months of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural documents.
  • Capability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
  • Proficient in delivering information and addressing inquiries or complaints from clients in both individual and small group settings.
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
  • Ability to apply logical reasoning to execute verbal or written instructions.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands outlined here are typical for an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this role:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, lift, and use hands and arms for various tasks.
  • Must have corrected vision to 20/40 or better.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 10 pounds at shoulder height and above.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions while performing job duties.
