Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold professional interactions with colleagues, customers, vendors, and the community.
- Adhere to CSI's image standards by maintaining a clean appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Follow established safety, security, and quality protocols, reporting any incidents to management promptly.
- Ensure the safety of oneself and others by implementing the CSI Loss Prevention process.
- Comply with food safety regulations regarding sanitation, handling, preparation, storage, and disposal.
- Verify customer age for restricted products in accordance with federal laws.
- Collaborate professionally with vendors and contractors.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Execute proper kitchen and sanitation practices during food preparation.
Essential Duties:
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and thanking all patrons with eye contact.
- Conduct point-of-sale transactions accurately while adhering to CSI guidelines.
- Manage cash drawer effectively, ensuring funds are secured and reconciled at the end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor facilities, including restrooms and service areas.
- Prepare food and beverage items, managing inventory levels to maximize sales and minimize loss.
- Promote store specials and marketing initiatives actively.
- Check delivered goods for accuracy and organize products throughout the store.
- Observe local laws while dispensing fuel to vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Availability for various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Required food handling certifications, as mandated by law (specific locations only).
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
- Capability to lift, push, and move products safely using proper techniques.
- Frequent handwashing and adherence to personal cleanliness standards.
Age Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old for certain locations and 21 years old for others.
