Customer Service Specialist, General Markets

At Swagelok Northern California, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join our General Markets team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Experience & Interaction: Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions.
  • Documentation & Transactions: Accurate data capture and entry to support best possible results.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with associates across the organization to support our customers and drive success for the company.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university (preferred)
  • Two years' experience in customer-facing or customer-service roles required
  • Clear communication skills
  • Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and personal interest
  • Enjoy answering and managing inbound phone calls in a professional manner
  • Strong sense of urgency to resolve customer requests
  • Understand basic manufacturing
  • Ability to work effectively with other departments within the company
