Tandym Group is seeking an experienced professional to lead our capital markets efforts as Vice President of Capital Markets. This role will be responsible for sourcing financing relationships, maintaining relationships with existing financings, and identifying ideal debt and equity partner transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Financing Relationship Management: Source and maintain financing relationships with warehouse and A-Notes providers.
- Debt and Equity Partner Identification: Work with portfolio managers and members to identify ideal debt and equity partner transactions.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a pipeline of active and prospective capital markets participants and create marketing materials for secondary market transactions.
- Covenant Compliance: Maintain covenant compliance across all financing facilities.
- Financial Modeling: Assist with financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions and utilize market data/comps.
- Financing Proposal Development: Develop and structure financing proposals for presentation to the Credit committee and potential debt and equity partners.
- Securitization Support: Assist in securitization efforts, including preparing offering memoranda, collateral data tapes, and data rooms.
- Investment Asset Management: Support the firm's existing investment asset management functions by analyzing performance, credit, and market conditions across the seasoned loan portfolio.
- Borrower Interaction: Interact and communicate with borrowers to address sensitive and non-routine matters, including risk-related items.
- Business Development: Assist in business development and fund marketing, with significant external exposure to existing investors, prospective equity partners, and clients.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets, Banking, and/or Brokerage.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Skills: Experience with Financial Modeling and Risk Analysis, Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), solid analytical and problem-solving skills, great interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong attention to detail, and high organization.
