Position: Electromechanical Assembly Specialist


Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, inspection, cleaning, and packaging of electromechanical systems and subsystems, ensuring compliance with established procedures and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test control rod drive mechanisms and related components.
  • Conduct inspections, cleaning, and packaging of products for distribution.
  • Perform electrical measurements, including resistance and insulation tests on AC/DC circuits.
  • Execute precision mechanical adjustments on high-value components.
  • Carry out assembly and testing operations on developmental products following detailed engineering guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment within the Assembly and Test facility and ensure cleanliness to meet industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree in mechanical or electronic technology.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a precision electromechanical assembly and testing environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts as required by business needs.
  • Ability to perform tasks from elevated platforms and ladders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance.

The salary range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on local market conditions and the candidate's qualifications. The total compensation package may also include additional elements such as performance incentives and a comprehensive benefits program.
