Summary: Lincoln Electric is in search of a Quality Assurance Specialist for our manufacturing operations in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is crucial in supporting quality assessments and various quality-related tasks within the consumable division.

Key Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Specialist will deliver technical support to engineers and scientists in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process enhancement, or product development.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Collecting, maintaining, formatting, compiling, and manipulating technical data using established formulas and procedures while performing detailed mathematical calculations.
  • Exhibiting an unwavering commitment to quality standards.
  • Thoroughly understanding, enforcing, and adhering to the Lincoln Electric Quality Management System in all daily activities.
  • Proactively initiating changes for continuous product and process improvement.
  • Maintaining manufacturing quality performance metrics and quality records.
  • Assisting in the evaluation, proper identification, and disposition of all non-conforming items and materials.
  • Staying informed about all products, documents, and process changes in your area of responsibility that impact quality.
  • Utilizing the Quality Management System and collaborating with appropriate divisional personnel to support or drive Continuous Improvement.
  • Assisting in the training and performance feedback of production personnel to production supervision.
  • Developing and conducting random process and product audits.
  • Assuming additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's strategic objectives.

Experience & Education Required:
Level III:

Vocational Training & 5 years of relevant experience OR an Associate's Degree in a related field OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 7 years of experience in a related field.

Technical training in Quality Assurance or Root Cause Analysis is highly desirable. Ability to work rotating shifts is essential. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and Windows operating systems is required. Basic knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, quality assurance tools, procedures, and measurement techniques is preferred. Strong ability to develop and maintain records and follow projects through to completion. Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills, are necessary. Capability for frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 60 lbs is expected.
