Urology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Urology Nurse Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urology and oncology, with experience in administering injections and infusions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting urologists with patient assessments and exams, and educating patients and their families on urological conditions and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications, IVs, and injections as prescribed, and monitor patient responses.
Educate patients and their families on urological conditions, treatment plans, pre/post-operative care, and medication management.
Coordinate diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds, CT scans, and urodynamic studies, and review and explain test results with patients.
Assist urologists with patient assessments, exams, and treatments, ensuring high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.
Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic medical records system.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
Previous experience in urology and oncology.
Licensed RN (KS & MO).
Experience giving injections and infusions.
