We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at Clarion Madison at Alliant Energy Center. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling all stages of their stay, and ensuring their complete satisfaction with each transaction and interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Represent the first point of contact with guests and handle all stages of a guest's stay, including check-in, check-out, and any issues that may arise.
- Communication: Accommodate and anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and professionally to their inquiries, and provide information about the hotel, area attractions, and events.
- Front Desk Operations: Process and collect payments, accurately adhering to all cashier procedures, and maintain a clean and neat front desk area.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Experience: Successful history as a front desk agent or related customer service experience.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and administrative skills, ability to multitask, and effective decision-making.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: Familiarity with hotel's Property Management Software (PMS) systems and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Eligibility: Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) after 6 months of service.
- Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities to enroll in STD, LTD, critical illness, accident, and/or life insurance.
