Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Field Paramedic to join our team. As a Field Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in the field, utilizing Advanced Life Support (ALS) skills. This is a per diem opportunity, and you may be eligible for shift-specific differentials.

The Field Paramedic will perform patient care activities consistent with Federal, State, and department regulations. This includes administering inter-facility care to acutely ill or injured patients, providing safe and time-bound transportation to the appropriate hospital or facility, and ensuring vehicle readiness and stock levels are maintained per department standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient care activities consistent with Federal, State, and department regulations.
  • Document patient care activities per established guidelines and timeframes.
  • Ensure vehicle readiness and stock levels are maintained per department standards.
  • Complete equipment inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Complete DPH/OEMS mandated education as required.
  • Complete required department education and maintain certifications as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with no current moving violations.
  • MA EMT-P Certification.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a field paramedic.
