Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Paramedic to join our team at Spaulding Hospital - Boston and Cambridge. As a Field Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in the field, utilizing Advanced Life Support (ALS) skills. This is a per diem opportunity, requiring flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Administer inter-facility care to acutely ill or injured patients
  • Provide pre-hospital emergency care utilizing ALS skills
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to the appropriate hospital or facility
  • Ensure vehicle readiness and stock levels are maintained per department standards
  • Complete equipment inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards
  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with organizational standards
  • Complete DPH/OEMS mandated education and required department education
Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license with no current moving violations
  • MA EMT-P Certification
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a field paramedic
