Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at UHS. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and administering ultrasound procedures according to hospital and department policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures
  • Act as a resource to students, residents, fellows, and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition
  • Ability to complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Able to speak and write English fluently
  • Diploma from a certified school of Radiology required
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Sonographer and acute care experience preferred
  • Current RDMS license required
  • Breast and Vascular registry preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
