Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

American Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, interpreting images, and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various modalities, including 2D and 3D imaging
  • Interpret ultrasound images and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • 2+ years of experience in ultrasound imaging
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
