With over 20 years of expertise in the maintenance and construction fields, we are looking for a skilled HVAC/R Operations Supervisor with a Contractor License to enhance our proficient team.

Scope of Work
The ideal candidate will leverage their HVAC/R Contractor license to secure permits as required. Responsibilities include overseeing all HVAC/R operations, projects, installations, repairs, and Preventive Maintenance in alignment with company protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Additionally, this role involves supervising junior HVAC/R technicians.
Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and train less experienced HVAC/R Technicians on-site.
  • Review and approve the working hours of all HVAC/R Technicians on-site.
  • Manage all HVAC/R operations, projects, installations, repairs, and Preventive Maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC/R equipment, including walk-in freezers, coolers, ice machines, and rack systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC/R commercial equipment, performing necessary repairs or part replacements.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure optimal performance of HVAC/R systems.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all HVAC/R tasks, including the handling of refrigerants and hazardous materials.
  • Document all work performed, including parts utilized, repairs completed, and maintenance activities, ensuring precise record-keeping.
  • Provide clients with recommendations for HVAC/R equipment upgrades, replacements, or enhancements to boost efficiency and performance.
Requirements
  • HVAC/R Contractor license to secure permits as necessary.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC/R commercial refrigerant equipment repair and maintenance.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude, maintaining professionalism and respect.
  • Proven ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Possession of a Massachusetts HVAC/R Technician License.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC/R commercial equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • A valid US driver's License with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations concerning HVAC/R systems and refrigerants.
  • Universal refrigerant certification.
Compensation
$80.00 per hour (Based on experience), including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, and 401k benefits.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 6:00am to 3:30pm
