Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to join our workforce, responsible for the upkeep and repair of HVAC systems across various urban office properties. A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites, and you will report directly to the MEP Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Travel between properties to conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs.
2. Assist in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system enhancements.
3. Perform essential servicing of HVAC and mechanical equipment.
4. Ensure high standards of workmanship and coordinate tasks with team members.
5. Lead and collaborate on cross-departmental problem-solving initiatives.
6. Develop weekly work schedules and ensure accurate billing processes.
7. Understand and operate various building systems.
8. Execute equipment upgrades, replacements, repairs, and emergency services.
9. Occasionally work outside standard hours to minimize disruption to tenants.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVACR or a related field.
3. Refrigeration, Electrical, or Plumbing licenses are advantageous.
4. Self-motivated, diligent, and solution-oriented individuals.
5. Commitment to long-term, sustainable solutions.
Skills and Experience:
1. Proficiency in HVACR, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
2. Understanding of electronic principles, relay logic, and PLC systems.
3. Familiarity with maintenance management systems.
4. Ability to utilize tools for assessing electrical equipment.
5. Strong teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
6. Capacity to share knowledge and enhance processes.
Work Environment:
Work will be conducted both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various environmental conditions. Frequent activities include walking, standing, bending, and climbing, with occasional sitting, squatting, crawling, and kneeling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
