HVAC/R Operations Supervisor

Role Overview
The ideal candidate will leverage their HVAC/R Contractor license to manage necessary permits and oversee all HVAC/R activities, including installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance, in line with our company standards and manufacturer guidelines. Additionally, this role involves supervising junior HVAC/R technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and train junior HVAC/R Technicians on-site.
- Review and approve the working hours of HVAC/R Technicians.
- Oversee all HVAC/R operations, including projects, installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC/R equipment, including refrigeration systems and ice machines.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC/R equipment, ensuring efficient repairs or replacements.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections to guarantee optimal equipment performance.
- Respond promptly to service calls, addressing client concerns with professionalism.
- Adhere to safety standards in all HVAC/R tasks, particularly when handling refrigerants.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and maintenance activities.
- Advise clients on potential upgrades or replacements for HVAC/R systems to enhance efficiency.
- HVAC/R Contractor license for permit acquisition.
- At least 10 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R equipment maintenance and repair.
- A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive leadership style, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Must possess a valid HVAC/R Technician License.
- Expertise in troubleshooting commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Valid US driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations concerning HVAC/R systems and refrigerants.
- Universal refrigerant certification.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
