Job Title: Senior Manager

The Senior Manager of Product is a leadership role focused on leveraging deep industry expertise, market vision, and customer understanding to drive innovation in transportation and logistics. This role is responsible for leading a portfolio of products and creating business value under their product lines that directly influences and aligns to targeted organizational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new products and services that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform product development decisions.
  • Develop and manage product roadmaps, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product maintenance.
  • Measure and analyze product performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as adoption, revenue, retention, compliance, savings, etc.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for product innovation and improvement, and develop and implement plans to address these opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required, Master's Degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of previous experience in a Product role.
  • Previous technical experience, while not required, is advised.
  • Previous transportation experience is highly desired.
  • Self-starter with a hyper focus on KPIs such as adoption, revenue, retention, compliance, savings, etc.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to break out of constraints or the status quo.
  • Willingness to take risks, experiment, and prototype in a rapid fashion.
  • Strong leadership and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and priority calls based on currently available information.
  • Great people skills and ability to collaborate and successfully work in teams.
  • Ensures expected outcomes are understood and measurable.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to run data queries to produce product-related KPI reports and metrics.
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to constantly changing industry and company requirements.
  • Ability to learn and understand technical concepts and tools necessary for their specific job duties.
  • Time management skills and proven ability to work on time-sensitive deliverables.
