Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dining Service Professional to join our team at Holiday Inn & Suites Anaheim. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take Food and Beverage Orders: Take orders from guests and enter them into our point-of-sale system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Ensure that every guest feels welcome and valued, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Set and Clear Tables: Set tables with linens, silverware, and glassware, and clear tables of dirty dishes and debris.
  • Stock Service Stations: Restock service stations with essentials such as ice, napkins, and straws to ensure a smooth service flow.
  • Pick Up Orders: Retrieve food and beverage orders from the kitchen and ensure they are prepared according to our high standards.
  • Prepare Guest Checks: Prepare guest checks and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform Other Duties: Assist with other food and beverage functions as needed, such as bartending and bussing, to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous Food and Beverage Experience: Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is required, or equivalent training.
  • Knowledge of POS Systems: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a must.
  • TIPS Certification: TIPS certification is preferred, but not required.
