Job Title: Territory Manager

At Connector Specialists, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our team. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, identifying needs, and selling appropriate products and/or solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business and retain existing customers within assigned territory.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with Inside Sales Representative(s) to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with our Systems Engineering team to identify, cultivate, and manage Fluid Power opportunities throughout the sales process.
  • Apply technical knowledge of our represented products, systems, and services to provide a value proposition that effectively addresses customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, leads, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in our CRM.
  • Work towards achieving specific sales growth goals and strategic objectives set forth by Management.
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
  • Schedule sales activity to maximize time management.
  • Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner consistent with our company mission, vision, and values.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Fast-paced, goal-oriented, self-motivated.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to establish and create relationships at all levels with customers and prospective organizations.
  • Proven sales closing skills with the ability to think outside the box when assisting customers with complicated solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to learn products and sales processes/systems.
