Senior Visual Merchandising Manager

This position is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles.

You will collaborate with the Director of Store Design and Visual Merchandising to establish a cohesive atmosphere across retail locations. Additionally, you will work alongside regional leaders to define visual merchandising expectations and assess store support requirements to enhance the overall brand experience. Your role will involve addressing specific merchandising challenges that arise from various factors such as store dimensions, types, inventory levels, and spatial limitations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in visual merchandising and space optimization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or other design software).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in management or team leadership.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Adaptable, solution-focused, and receptive to feedback.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Proactive in anticipating project needs and planning accordingly.

Responsibilities:

  • As part of the hybrid role, visit retail locations twice a week and the office once a week.
  • Develop visual merchandising guidelines each season for retail stores.
  • Travel to stores weekly or biweekly to merchandise new deliveries, capture photographs, and provide direction.
  • Conduct store visits to reinforce brand best practices and identify opportunities for enhancing productivity.
  • Balance critical reporting with brand aesthetics to influence actions that improve customer experience and business outcomes.
  • Lead store teams through transitions as visual merchandising strategies evolve.
  • Facilitate and engage in calls and meetings to promote continuous learning that aligns with visual merchandising strategies and brand standards.
  • Inspire and motivate teams by setting clear expectations, delivering timely feedback, and recognizing achievements.
  • Support store remodels and openings.
  • Share industry best practices and innovative ideas.

Base Salary Range

$75,000 - $85,000
