Position Summary

At LA Breastlink Beverly Hills, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care through our dedicated team. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients, utilizing advanced technology and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with front desk personnel, medical technologists, physicians, and nursing staff to facilitate the timely completion of patient examinations and procedures.
  • Guide patients from the waiting area to the preparation area, assisting them in getting ready for their scheduled appointments.
  • Conduct patient interviews to gather medical histories and screen for safety in accordance with established protocols.
  • Support Registered Nurses in setting up IVs, monitoring sedation, and assisting with other clinical tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate with Radiologists regarding contrast coverage and other examination requirements.
  • Verify examination orders and authorizations by contacting referring physicians' offices.
  • Prepare examination rooms by ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use, assisting with necessary changes and preparations.
  • Assist modality technologists with various tasks as assigned, within the scope of your skills.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with experience in a diagnostic imaging setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective interaction with physicians, staff, and patients.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work efficiently to ensure timely patient processing and workflow.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
