About the Role:

This Regional Sales Director position is a field-based role responsible for leading a team of Account Executives within a designated region. The successful candidate will promote SHIELD to general practice providers and their practices within the assigned area, recruiting, hiring, coaching, developing, and leading the Account Executives for the launch and promotion of SHIELD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and target regions for early adoption of SHIELD.
  • Partner with national, regional, and local laboratories to establish phlebotomy draw agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with key thought leaders and decision makers in assigned regions.
  • Successfully manage direct reports, including recruitment, selection, coaching, and development.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership by driving performance, providing ongoing feedback, and opportunities for growth.
  • Manage sales targets and report progress to the management team.
  • Forecast and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Ensure the effective use of sales processes and approved marketing materials.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of direct experience in customer-facing sales roles in medical, diagnostic, or med device industries.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales leadership or management capacity.
  • Measurable revenue generation in relevant companies.
  • Proven experience leading sales teams promoting products directly to primary care providers, gastroenterologists, and their practices.
  • Experience in sales leadership during product launches.
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills for relationship building.
  • Effective coaching and education abilities.
  • Established reach and frequency, high decile healthcare provider targeting, and production/coverage experience.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills with experience reporting sales force metrics.

Base Salary: $180,000 per year (estimated)
