About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive General Manager to lead our operations in the Richmond, Virginia area. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Acumen
    • Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) of our operations, with a focus on achieving financial targets and improving profitability.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
    • Analyze financial data to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Operational Leadership
    • Lead and champion Operational Excellence initiatives across the site, with a focus on improving processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety performance and reduce incidents.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Customer and Market Focus
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, with a focus on understanding their needs and delivering value-added solutions.
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth and improve sales performance.
  • Business Levers
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve business performance, with a focus on driving growth, improving profitability, and reducing costs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety performance and reduce incidents.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of P&L leadership experience, with a focus on driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
    • 8+ years of operational leadership experience, with a focus on driving operational efficiencies, safety, and lean.
    • Experience leading manufacturing footprint projects, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
    • Excellent executive presence, with a focus on driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
    • Exceptional communication and persuasion skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
