The Member Services Representative will serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all who visit our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and professional greetings to members and guests
  • Answer member questions and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Process membership accounts, register for programs, and handle transactions accurately
  • Be knowledgeable about YMCA policies, programs, and services
  • Maintain a clean and organized welcome center desk and lobby area
  • Document incidents and report to supervisors as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills and experience with cash handling
  • CPR/AED and first aid certification (training provided)

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
  • Potential exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Salary and Benefits:

$17.50/hour with an opening incentive of an additional $1.00/hour
