Job Title: Experienced PeopleSoft Administrator at Peraton

Overview:

Peraton is seeking a proficient PeopleSoft Administrator to support a vital Intelligence Community client. This position is critical for maintaining system reliability, swiftly diagnosing and rectifying system challenges, and managing user inquiries and support requests. The role necessitates regular interaction with clients on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain optimal system performance and conduct routine system checks.
  • Identify and resolve network and application performance challenges efficiently.
  • Manage system-related issues through a ticketing system and provide on-call support as necessary.
  • Implement monthly software updates in accordance with security protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with government stakeholders, Project Leads, ISSO, Application Vendors, and End Users.
  • Understand system hardening and security measures through STIG and patch management.
  • Develop and revise documentation to clarify complex configurations.
  • Possess familiarity with Oracle database systems operating on Linux servers.
  • Communicate intricate system configurations effectively in documentation.
  • Experience in drafting and updating SOPs, STPs, SIPs, SAGs, SUMs, and ICDs.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS/BA; 6 years with an MS/MA; or 3 years with a PhD.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with over 8 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Possession of an active DOD TS/SCI security clearance or active TS with SCI eligibility and polygraph capability.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft HCM Applications (9.2 platform) and PeopleTools 8.59 or higher.
  • Experience as a PeopleSoft administrator in complex, integrated, and customized environments.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft systems on Linux/Windows servers and Oracle databases.
  • Expertise in SQL performance tuning, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Change Assistant, Application Designer, and Data Mover.
  • Experience managing PeopleSoft in a load-balanced setting and familiarity with OpenSSL, SSL certificates, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, and database maintenance.

  • Experience meeting response times for high-priority requests in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical information for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience in effective internal and external communication.
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities, including security updates and emergency responses for database management systems in production environments.

Salary Range:

$146,000 - $234,000, based on experience and other relevant factors.
