Role Overview:
Peraton is seeking a proficient PeopleSoft Administrator to support a critical mission for an Intelligence Community client. This position is essential for maintaining optimal system performance, addressing and resolving technical issues swiftly, and managing user inquiries and requests. The role requires regular interaction with clients on-site.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain system uptime and perform daily monitoring of system health.
- Diagnose and resolve network and application performance challenges efficiently.
- Manage system-related issues through a ticketing platform and provide off-hours support as necessary.
- Implement monthly software updates in accordance with security protocols.
- Work collaboratively with government clients, Project Leads, ISSOs, Application Vendors, and End Users.
- Understand system hardening and security measures through STIG compliance and patch management.
- Develop and refine documentation to clarify complex configurations.
- Possess familiarity with Oracle database systems operating on Linux servers.
- Communicate intricate system configurations effectively in written documentation.
- Experience in drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Technical Procedures (STPs), System Integration Plans (SIPs), System Architecture Guidelines (SAGs), System Upgrade Management (SUMs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).

Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; 6 years with a Master's degree; or 3 years with a PhD.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with over 8 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Possession of an active DOD TS/SCI security clearance or an active TS with SCI eligibility and a current polygraph, or the capability to obtain a polygraph prior to employment.
- Proficient knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft HCM Applications (version 9.2) and PeopleTools version 8.59 or higher.
- Experience as a PeopleSoft administrator in complex, integrated, and customized environments.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft systems operating on Linux/Windows servers and Oracle databases.
- Expertise in performance tuning SQL, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Change Assistant, Application Designer, and Data Mover.
- Experience managing PeopleSoft in a load-balanced environment and with OpenSSL, SSL certificates, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, and database maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to convey technical concepts and solutions to both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently, prioritizing and managing multiple requests effectively.
- Experience in adhering to response times as per service level agreements for high-priority requests.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in effective communication with internal and external parties.
- Planning and coordinating maintenance activities, including security patching and emergency responses for database management systems in a production environment.
