Employee Benefits Specialist

Position Overview:
Are you prepared to advance your career with a prominent player in the field of industrial electrical engineering, construction, and automation? If you possess a keen attention to detail and excel in analytical thinking, we invite you to consider the role of Benefits Coordinator within our Benefits Team. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in managing benefits documentation, facilitating open enrollment, and conducting audits, all while providing exceptional service to employees through various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Benefits inbox and address routine inquiries from employees.
- Distribute notification letters, assist with onboarding sessions, and guide new hires through the enrollment process.
- Collect and manage benefits documentation efficiently.
- Review and audit enrollment data, making necessary corrections to ensure precision.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly audits, reconciling enrollment figures and premiums with Payroll and insurance carriers.
- Examine provider files for accuracy and completeness.
- Process insurance billing in a timely manner.
- Support the planning and execution of open enrollment activities.
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Utilize the Microsoft Office Suite to create complex documents, manipulate spreadsheets, generate professional presentations, and manage various databases.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, report generation, and meeting coordination.
- Arrange travel and appointments as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or Finance, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions is essential. Familiarity with HRIS or benefits enrollment systems is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Meticulous attention to detail and effective prioritization skills.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $18-22 per hour.
