Position Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and skilled Permanent Employee Relations Specialist to become a vital part of our team within the Manufacturing sector.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Human Resources and Employee Relations, particularly in the area of conflict resolution.

This position necessitates a bilingual individual fluent in both English and Spanish.

The successful applicant will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and will be tasked with cultivating a positive workplace atmosphere, addressing employee concerns, and enhancing employee morale.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees and management regarding all employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and policy interpretation.
  • Design and implement employee relations policies to foster a positive, ethical, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Investigate and resolve intricate employee relations challenges, acting as a mediator when necessary, and suggesting suitable resolution methods.
  • Facilitate regular training sessions on employee rights, company policies, and other HR-related subjects.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to create and execute HR strategies that encourage a high-performance environment.
  • Advise managers on performance management, including performance improvement plans, coaching, and disciplinary measures.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to daily employee management, minimizing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to the establishment of departmental goals, objectives, and systems that directly influence the organization's overall success.
  • Stay informed about the latest HR trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on Employee Relations.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing workplace conflicts and implementing resolution strategies.
  • Thorough understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and related software for performance management and workforce analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of handling sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Preferred certifications include Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
