Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a leading provider of comprehensive health services, is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant I, II, or III to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will provide clinical support and assist our dental providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dental providers in the delivery of dental procedures, including Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery.
  • Maintain accurate records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore tests, and inventory of dental supplies.
  • Assist in training new dental assistants and organizing schedules to ensure efficient maintenance of dental procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Valid WA State license and basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Organizational skills, dental record experience, and familiarity with computer systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and interpret common written material about dentistry.
  • Preferred bilingual in Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dental Assistant II: completion of a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute, or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months of work experience.
  • Dental Assistant III: knowledge of proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations, including QI, with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
