Job Title: Dental Assistant I, II, or III

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at the 4th Plain Dental Clinic in Vancouver, WA.

The successful candidate will assist the dental provider in delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining proper records, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dental provider in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery procedures.
  • Maintain proper records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore test, and inventory of dental supplies.
  • Assist in training new Dental Assistants and organizing schedules to generate checklists for maintenance of dental procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid WA State license and basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
  • Preferred bilingual in Spanish.

Education and Experience:

  • Dental Assistant II: Completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute, or equivalent, and a minimum of 6 months of work experience.
  • Dental Assistant III: Knowledgeable of proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations, including QI, and 2 years of working experience.
