At Sea Mar Community Health Centers, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at our Vancouver Dental Clinic.

The ideal candidate will have a valid WA State license, basic life support (BLS) certification, and excellent customer service skills. They will also be able to communicate, read, and write in English and have the ability to interpret common written material about dentistry.

The successful candidate will assist the dental provider in the delivery of dental procedures allowed by the WA State Dental Practice Act. They will also be responsible for maintaining proper records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore test, inventory of dental supplies, and assisting in training new Dental Assistants and organizing schedules to generate check lists for maintenance of dental procedures.

We offer a competitive hourly range of $22.88 and a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, long-term disability, EAP (Employee Assistance Program), paid-time-off starting at 24 days per year + 10 paid Holidays, and 401(k)/Retirement options.

As a Dental Assistant II, the candidate must have completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute or equivalent, and have a minimum of 6 months of work experience. As a Dental Assistant III, the candidate must be knowledgeable of the proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations including QI, and have 2 years working experience.
