Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at the Rose Village Dental Clinic in Vancouver, Washington.

The successful candidate will assist the dental provider in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients, adhering to the WA State Dental Practice Act.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the dental provider in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery procedures
  • Maintaining proper records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore test, and inventory of dental supplies
  • Assisting in training new Dental Assistants and organizing schedules to generate checklists for maintenance of dental procedures

Qualifications include:

  • A valid WA state license
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification
  • Organizational skills
  • Dental record experience
  • Familiarity with computer utilization

Excellent customer service skills are required, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.

As a Dental Assistant II, the candidate must have completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute, or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months of work experience.

For Dental Assistant III, the candidate must have 2 years of working experience and be knowledgeable of proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations, including QI.
