Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at our Vancouver Dental Clinic - Fourth Plain location. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in the delivery of dental procedures, working closely with our dental providers to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dental providers in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore test, and inventory of dental supplies.
  • Assist in training new Dental Assistants and organizing schedules to generate checklists for maintenance of dental procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid WA State license and basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
  • Preferred bilingual in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dental Assistant II: Completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute, or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months of work experience.
  • Dental Assistant III: Knowledgeable of proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations, including QI, with 2 years of working experience.
