The Red Hat Technical Sales team is seeking an experienced Automation Sales Specialist to join our North America Public Sector sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform software subscription offerings and services to prospective and current accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new strategic sales opportunities and lead critical customer presentations/sessions to address business problems and showcase Red Hat solutions.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Red Hat products, including features, updates, success stories, and general knowledge of the RH portfolio.
  • Enable account teams on current sales plays, ISVs, use cases, solution blueprints, and Red Hat Sales Plays.
  • Advise on and speak to forecasts for appropriate products, services, and training.
  • Position right-sized solutions to address customer challenges and drive growth beyond initial sales and deployment.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success on the delivery of proposed business value/solutions.

  • Experience with technology offerings and economics of cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of open source technology principles and processes.
