Executive Director, Corporate Development Lead

Halozyme, a pioneering biotechnology company, seeks an exceptional Executive Director, Corporate Development to spearhead strategic transactions and drive seamless integration of newly acquired entities. As a senior member of the Corporate Development team, you will orchestrate successful transactions, support executive leadership, and contribute to the company's mission to reinvent the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute Halozyme's M&A strategy through strategic transactions, including diligence coordination and integration processes.
- Lead large-scale due diligence and integration initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Partner with the VP of Corporate Development to establish overall direction for the function.
- Support the executive leadership team in deal negotiations and contribute to activities such as drafting definitive agreements.
- MBA with 15 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, M&A integration, or related areas within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale due diligence and integration initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Solid Project Management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for integration activities.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and driving organizational change.
- Familiarity with M&A best practices and integration frameworks.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
- Hybrid work flexibility, with a minimum of 3 days weekly in the office.

The most likely base pay range for this position is $219K - $329K per year, with total compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and equity awards.
