We are seeking a skilled Clinical Account Executive to join our team at LHC Group. As a Clinical Account Executive, you will play a critical role in coordinating the referral of patients to home health services, ensuring that patient choice is honored.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patient suitability for home health services upon request from physicians or facilities.
- Receive referrals from physicians or facilities and send them to the appropriate branch of the home health agency.
- Act as a liaison between patients, caregivers, physicians, and home health agencies.
- Schedule and coordinate physician follow-up appointments as needed.
- Communicate patient reports from agency field staff to physicians and nurses.
- Facilitate the delivery of DME equipment and special procedures or outpatient services.
- Meet personal performance goals and admission budgets for the location.
- Prior home health experience.
- Formalized clinical training from an accredited institution and licensure in the state.
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong computer skills to meet Microsoft Outlook and CRM software requirements.
