At Ardent Health, we're seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist Lead to join our team in Amarillo, TX. As a night shift, full-time Respiratory Therapist Lead, you'll be responsible for performing all respiratory care procedures in general and critical care settings.

Responsibilities
The Respiratory Lead will be responsible for:
- Performing all respiratory care procedures in general and critical care settings.
- Providing shift-by-shift clinical leadership for the advancement of professional respiratory practice to staff in various clinical settings.
- Assisting with ongoing development and evaluation of orientation needs, in-service education, and continuing education.
- Applying innovative teaching strategies and methodologies to provide cost-effective and well-executed clinical education.
- Functioning as a 'Charge Therapist' with responsibility for ensuring adequate staffing levels and assigning respiratory therapy staff to work areas and/or work assignments.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
- An Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Licensure by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification.
- RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist verification through NBRC.
