About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Service Coordinator to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our scheduling department, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments and ensuring that our patients receive timely and accurate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently and effectively using our electronic health record system
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information to ensure accurate billing and payment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments and interactions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical scheduling experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
