About the Role

As a Senior Patient Services Representative at Houston Methodist, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences. With five years of experience in healthcare and three years in a related role, you will bring your expertise to facilitate timely, accurate claims submission and registration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient check-in/check-out functions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Obtain and input scheduling and registration data for financial clearance activities
  • Coordinate patient flow while maintaining consistency, timeliness, and expert skill
  • Serve as a role model and mentor for less experienced staff, providing guidance and support when needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Five years of experience in healthcare, including three years in a related role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently
  • Working knowledge of revenue cycle components and insurance requirements

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
