Job Description:

Houston Methodist is seeking a skilled Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for facilitating patient visit experiences by performing check in/check out functions and appointment scheduling. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in a related healthcare role, with a strong focus on customer service and communication.

The Senior Patient Services Representative at Houston Methodist is accountable for delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service. They are the first point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure. This includes managing patient flow, resolving issues promptly, and providing accurate information about services and policies.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, entering data into various database systems, and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise in medical terminology, revenue cycle components, and insurance requirements will ensure that patients receive timely and accurate billing. You will also have opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills through ongoing learning and development initiatives.

As a key member of the interprofessional healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Your ability to analyze problems, think critically, and develop creative solutions will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
