Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Office Manager to join our team at Aspire at the Sea - Harbor Beach. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the business office department, leading and coordinating all aspects of the business office, and ensuring the efficient operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Business Office Department
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the business office staff
    • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of patient billing and collections
    • Manage the resident trust accounting system and ensure the security of patient funds
  • Lead and Coordinate Business Office Activities
    • Oversee the patient billing system and ensure accuracy of patient account billing information
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections
    • Manage the Medicaid pending application and conversion process
  • Ensure Efficient Office Operations
    • Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
    • Ensure the timely processing of charges, adjustments, refunds, and payment posting
    • Provide innovative and responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and concepts to improve systems and processes
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
    • One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Minimum of one year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility business office setting with specific billing/collecting and patient trust accounting experience
    • Prior supervisor experience in a business office setting preferred
    • Point Click Care (PCC) billing system experience preferred
    • National Data Care Resident Funds Management System (RFMS) experience preferred
