About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned brand builder and client-facing planning lead to join our team at Rise & Run | An IPG Health Company. As a Strategic Planning Director, you will be responsible for managing complex accounts and pitches, developing strategic storytelling skills, and guiding insight generation and campaign development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Planning: Develop and execute expert-level brand strategies, leveraging market dynamics, customer insights, and deep understanding of disease states.
  • Client Management: Lead strategic planning responsibilities on multiple brands, integrated accounts, and new business pitches, while driving influence toward a strategic POV and recommendation internally and with senior clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other agency departments to ensure pull-through of insights and strategy, and lead strategic planning responsibilities on multiple brands.
  • Talent Management & Development: Supervise and develop lower-level staff, delegate tasks, and make hiring and staffing decisions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in brand strategy or market research in an agency setting.
  • Competent in software specific to client and agency processes, including Microsoft Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent working knowledge in research tools, social media platforms, and AI platforms.
  • Strong understanding of agency offerings, services, products, and solutions, as well as brand/pharma marketing and promotional strategy and trends.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $230,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
