About the Role

Gilbane is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to support a project at a US Government/military facility. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for coordinating and distributing project information, maintaining contract document logs, and preparing status reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and distribute project information to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain up-to-date contract document logs to ensure compliance
  • Prepare status reports on RFIs, Submittals, and other Documents
  • Write scopes of work for bid packages to ensure clarity and accuracy
  • Issue Request for Quotations and follow up with Trade Contractors to ensure timely responses
  • Update project schedules using CPM techniques to ensure on-time completion
  • Document field quality activities to ensure quality standards are met
  • Prepare change management reports, estimates, and cost report documents to ensure transparency
  • Maintain project quality files and documentation systems to ensure accessibility
  • Promote organizational change initiatives and suggest new ideas to improve processes
  • Understand customer goals and act with urgency to meet needs and demonstrate value
  • Develop industry relationships to generate opportunities for Gilbane

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 2+ years of experience with a large contractor or general contractor
  • Experience in US Government/military projects preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Proven track record of meeting goals and delivering results
  • Understanding of success metrics and risks
  • Adaptability to new structures, processes, and cultures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic MEP knowledge
  • OSHA 10-hour certified required, 30-hour preferred
  • Understanding of Contract Document & Specifications, CMiC knowledge preferred
